On the road again? Both highways and inner-city roads are often more trafficked during summertime due to vacationing and tourism. Likewise, parking lots are more regularly populated. And since this extra traffic is coming from non-locals, confusion and even bewilderment about directions and traffic rules can lead to more mayhem on the roads.

Enter traffic directors. You know, those wearing the color orange, somehow notorious for signifying “slow down, watch out?” They section off stretches of the road, and dot it with orange cones by day, and orange flares by night.

Since you’ll see more of these traffic directors over the summer, we’ve put together a little trivia quiz to train everyone on what means what in traffic directing.

ISSM provides trained security personnel who specialize in traffic directing services for any public or private agency, group or individual.  Contact us for more info, and in the meantime, you can check  your traffic directing signs IQ, below.
